Thoughts on Congress Relaxing Meal Standards?
We recently came across an article involving the sometimes controversy surrounding the National School Lunch Program, and want to share! What are your thoughts on Congress relaxing the original meal standards set in 2010?
"Last month, the Senate Agriculture Committee approved a bill, sponsored by Sens. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) and Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), that would allow schools to include fewer whole grains and extend by two years when schools must reduce levels of salt."
